Origin of Music

The origin of music can be traced back to the ancient cave men. They struck the walls of their caves with stones. Later in the metal ages music gained popularity and men learned to sing songs. The songs were intended to attract the opposite sex. We all enjoy music but the history and origin of music is a very interesting topic indeed. Primitive music was mostly vocal accompanied with a lone instrument perhaps. Later on various instruments have been evolved from the primitive string instruments like the monochord or skin instruments like the drum. Music continues to evolve even today and will be alive as long as humanity itself.
