Gregorian

Consisting of Frank Peterson, Carsten Heusmann, Jan-Eric Kohrs and Michael Soltau, Gregorian is a band that has its roots in Hamburg, Germany. Initially a pop group called Enigma, the band reinvented itself into what they call the Gregorian style. The Gregorian style is a chant infused version of popular present day rock and pop songs that are sung with 12 session and choir singers. The band selects songs that can be translated into a 7 point scale. This selection is done unanimously by all the members and they call this the Masters of Chant. They have released one album every year under this name, since 1999.
