Reading music is not very difficult once someone grabs the basic principles according to which music is written. While reading music, one must pay attention to the time signature in which the piece is, whether there are any key signatures, and the beat in which the music is proceeding. Minims, crotchets, quavers, pauses as well as ties must be paid attention to.
